Take a train ride on a 1/3 size replica of the C.P.Huntington S.P. train through beautiful Beavers Bend State Park game reserve. The train runs 2 times per hour and the ride usually takes 15-20 minutes. Riders will sometimes spot some native wildlife, go up and down Wahoo Hill and run through the train tunnel before pulling back into the station....don't forget your camera. Guided trail rides are offered starting at the top of each hour. The ride will take you through 2 1/2 miles of scenic Beavers Bend State Park Game Reserve. Expect to see some of the native wildlife such as white tail deer, squirrel, fox, etc. The ride lasts approximately 45 minutes but please allow at least an hour to complete the ride. After you have completed your rides, come by and check out our snack bar and gift shop. We have novelty gifts such as train caps and T-shirts and feature: Blue Bell hand dipped Ice Cream, Snow-Balls, Large soft Pretzels, Nachos, Pizza, Cotton Candy, and mouthwatering Funnel Cakes, along with other food items and drinks. Train rides, hayrides, & riding stables, what more could you ask for?

A nature lovers dream! Feel free to explore on one's own or to join in the many group activities. Visitors can choose eagle watches, trout fishing, fly-fishing clinics, guided horseback rides on scenic trails, or hayrides throughout the park. A year-round naturalist and a well-stocked nature center make possible a program lineup that includes campfire programs on the banks of the Mountain Fork River, nature hikes, arts and crafts classes and nature films. In the park's Riverbend area water lovers can find Broken Bow Lake with activities of yakanoes, paddle boats, canoes, and sandy beaches with roped off swim areas. The clear waters of the 14,000-acre Broken Bow Lake are also a favorite haunt of scuba divers. Other park activities: golfing, miniature golf, tennis, jet skiing, Lake Duck Tours, Paddle Boarding, Zip Line, boating, and canoeing. Beavers Bend Resort Park David Boren Trail offers 16 miles of hiking trails with 4 miles of multi-purpose trails that wander along ridge tops, over creek bottoms, through tall stands of timber.

It is our desire that visitors of all ages can learn through our lifelike exhibits a little more of the great outdoors and thereby gain a better understanding of the Great Creator.
